Vasectomy is an effective and reversible method of contraception for men. The procedure takes barely a dozen or so minutes and is performed without a scalpel and without a needle, in the so-called Canadian variant – the “keyhole” method. It consists in temporarily blocking the vas deferens, through which sperm pass from the testicles into the semen. The procedure takes place under local anaesthesia, using a microscope or surgical loupes.

Anaesthesia without a needle
We use modern anaesthesia, without the use of a needle – the agent is administered under pressure. Patients compare the sensation to a light flick of a rubber band. Thanks to this the procedure is almost painless.
